collecting aquarium species by boat
I absolutely love this spot.
We used to come here nearly every weekend 10 to 20 years back and it hasn’t changed much.
We get out there about 2 times a year these days.
For safe snorkelling, collecting, down to fifty foot scuba diving, spear fishing, non serious fishing, nothing beats this reef.
On a calm day we would sometimes get dropped off here and swim onto the reef and take our lunch, shade, chairs, towls, what ever onto it and have a very good half day relaxing, collecting, photographing and interacting with leopard sharks, turtles, the local massive stingray and sometimes an over friendly albatross will bother you for food or try to do something rude with your snorkel as it tried with Danny.
The photos are of a 2008 trip out there and as usual we had a ball.
