Ok Hi All,

at the next meeting i will be showing people how to make their own moon lights out of led's, so for the people who want to make some on the night, what you will need is some

475nM led's (475 is the spectrum of the moon light) as many as you want for your tank the led's i bought come with resisters, if they do not you will also need some resisters.
wire, does not need to be think, but bring a reasonable amount.
a 12v power adapter (ebay has them or Jaycar)
heat shrink (again from Jaycar or bunnings also have it)

See you on the night

Hi shane

Went to buy the light and all the stuff at jaycar

They asked me what amp is the power adaptor?? Anything in particular, can I use an adaptor from an old mobile phone?

Also, havenīt been able to source the led bulbs yet, jaycar underwood doesnīt have them, dick smith didnīt have them either....

Look for them on ebay but couldnīt find anyone with 475 nM....

Will keep looking today(sunday)
Cheers

they are the ones i got, cant find mine at home so will have to just get any for demonstration purposes. I will buy some of the 100 you get if you want.

The adapter should be a 12v like i said on the item list, you can use a differnet adapter like old phone one but then you need to work out what resisters to get as the voltage will be different.
