PVC aquascaping quiries Empty PVC aquascaping quiries

hey guys my tank is cycled and now it's time to move onto the aquascape. I was hoping Dendrobate might still be checking in while away because I'd like to use the same method he did. could anyone tell me if expanding foam and the usual pvc cement will be safe to use?
