Pentapodus sp blue whiptail collected.  Empty Pentapodus sp blue whiptail collected.

Not a lot of information on these very pretty fish available to reef keepers, but over the years we have had a great deal to do with them and except for this whiptail being extremely susceptible to predation, they are a very easy and totally reef safe fish to keep in a marine aquarium.
This fish will run and then once tired, it will hide in weed/algae and if you notice where it has hidden, you can catch them very easily with just a container and no net at all.
They grow to a max of 7 or 8 inches and remain very striking in colouration.
