This family of five have been living in and around our street since the chicks were newly born.
They nest in tree hollows and the chicks that survive the fall from the nest, are the surviving hatchlings, so in our street it was 3 that lived.

These guys eat grass, pretty much most of what makes up a good or bad lawn, so for several months they have been strolling along our street stopping to taste ours and our neighbours grasses and of course, sit of the road so we have to drive around them, lol.

The youngsters fledged recently, so they have left for this year, for 6 years they have been doing this, one year they got 5 to adult hood.

one of the first days the adults brought their off spring to our place in august.

In the coming days in late November, they were gone.
