Hell fire anemone or Actinodendron plumosum

There are 5 variations of this creature that all have the same Latin name.,hell fires are a burrowing anemone meaning that if you disturb them they retract them selves just under the surface of the substrate.
They are regarded as having the most powerful sting of all anemones and clown fish do not host in them, if the do, they die.
A very common anemone here in EQ in shallow waters.
This is a small one of 6 inches in diameter in the wild.
