Over the last year since the club has been taking videos of marine species on our club collecting trips we have as always uncounted many of what is nicknamed the Koran angle fish.

Some also say blue angle, some say semi angel fish, but of course that is why we have latern names for all species so that in the end there is one latern name for that creature to adhere to if needed to avoid confusion when looking for a name.

These are a few videos of what we see at any given time on club trips of this angel fish, the ones you see on here are like most that we see, we don’t bother catching them as you can only keep so many semi angelfish.

Awesome videos.

Mine has grown so much since you caught it for me back in April, just the other day i noticed its starting to get a bit of yellow on its face and top of the body, so it must slowly be turning into adult colours.

Yeh they take a while longer than in the wild some times to change, the one i had from pinky finger nail size a lot of years back was the slowest i have seen at 10 years before showing some adult colour.
It was four and a half inches and getting that brown patch in the middle before i killed it and many others with the stupid idea of spraying silicon spray i use for the scuba gear on the hinges of the hood to treat the rust and some made contact with the water, that didn't turn out to well at all.
Needless to say i didn't do that again, you live and learn, shame something i had for so long as with a few other tank inhabitants had to die for me to learn those sprays affect ph quite a bit.
