The waters edge pictured here is where we had a cuppa before getting in,as you can see it's very nice,a fine hot day,near on warm water and up to 10 metres vis,this was all we needed to have a geat time amongst heaps of others chasing for their aquariums,general free diving and plenty of scuba divers as well.
Over all some nice fish and inverts were found and a few ocys for dinner as well.

Good to see a new batch of juveniles of the very common ghost pipe fish (solenostomus paradoxus).
Ealier on in the year the heavy rains wipped out the large numbers of the adults we were experiencing,as with virtualy all marine life,nice to see planktonic dispersal bringing them back, no one wanted any so it was put back.

This school of bait fish folowed us around most of the time there for safety most likely,looking through the school you can see some of the large pipefish waititng and feeding on them.

This bed of xenia is such a peaceful and relaxing site as a result of the swell movement

love the painted cray video ---
i have never seen one this size before ---- very cute Smile
the ones i have seen are usually rather large and being sized up by a wobby in the back of a cave for lunch!
