What can you say except,a perfect trip once again to the mudflats to find some goodies for our tanks.
It was sunny, warm water, very little wind, lots of peppermint shrimp and boxer shrimp and many other interesting marine life.
Seven of us hit this spot and found some great and diverse creatures for our hobby and sport combo.

First up is a cute little blennie.

One coral catfish to show their size,no one wanted any.

A mature female peppermint shrimp and a slightly younger one of the many seen, both are in stress colour.

This would have to be the smallest blennie collected out of heaps seen, lots of gobies acidently caught as well, they were mostly put back.

A 12 inch wobby.

One of the local frogfish, only a mother could love that face.

Another good club day out and we only got our feet wet.
Colin the octopus expert was up to his usual standard, but at least this time they were not blue ring Laughing

Here is the little fish I added to the new tank. I'm not sure what it is
It has a weird swimming angle, upright like a seahorse. Or maybe it is just confused.

Grant's Guide to Fishes show this one as a Yellow Perchlet (Ambassis marianus)

All our trips are on the forum with normally one day to two weeks notice atdm.

You actualy wanted this trip and it was planned around what you wanted, remember?

Doesn't matter we had a ball, found a couple of unusual things as well.

Oh that little black blotched fish is most likely a type of Petroscirtes and the other is an apogon(cardinal fish),and most likely the blotchy one where we were it is undescribed for sure.

That type of fish tends to hang there to hide as if nothing of value or danger and strikes as it is more or less a fangtooth or sabretooth blennie.
