Tusk fish Empty Tusk fish

Has any one seen tusk fish here?I have seen them further up north.I haven't seen any down here as yet.
Need to find my emperor first though.

They are quiet common in the south east.

The problem is they are very easy to catch via a fence net, which is used some times five at once to surround an area to collect by the commercial guys.

They tend to hang around caves and large bolder drop offs, for hiding spots.

They used to be common in the car bodies off Bulwa in the past, though the sunshine coast always had more sought of.

The boulder drop off at old woman isl used to have 3 to 6 at any given time there to chase,in just free dive depth there as well.

The biggest concentration of them is at Hutchisonís shoal due to the obviously awkwardness accessing a reef so far out.

There are other spots where we see them but thatís the gist of them, not a good fish to have in a tank as they grow, especially with inverts.
