This is definitely the first destination on my list. Indonesia has the greatest diversity of coral and fish in the world if i remember correctly. Look the Great barrier reef is great. but seriously all it really has to claim is being the biggest. Sorry, it really isn't the best.

Nothing we don't get here in Aus though....mate some of the spots I've snorkelled up off 1770 would blow that away!!

I'd beg to differ, but I suppose we'll just have to do a trip to both so you can prove me wrong. I've dived both but I'm sure you know a few top spots no one else does.

I'm in for sure - not sure what parts of the GBR you've explored but I assure you its equally prolific.... .

Some of the spots I know of around the Percy Islands are mind blowing - the coral and fish life is just incredible, you can literally stay in one place for hours and continually see different stuff, then you notice something else again - just beautiful...

I spent 7 hours tied to a bit of rope off the back of a anchored boat and thought it was about 20 min.....

A 1770 trip is coming up before December...

Its so strictly weather dependant its hard to say.....watch the charts late November early December I would think....
