Hi All

I am due to replace some test kits soon and would like to know what you guys choose to use and why. I am needing something for testing all the water parameters to keep reef and Fish happy.

Water parameters - What do you think is important to test and what do you test it with ?

Iodine
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
Phosphates
Magnesium
Calcium
Alkalinity
Nitrates -NO3
Nitrites –NO2
Ammonia –NH3

and of course -
pH
Salinity
Temperature

I think it depends on what kind of tank you have as far as corals or fish only. Also the difficulty level of said corals will also determine what you'll need.

If you have a basic tank with basic corals, i think ph, temp, salinity, calcium, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate are the main ones that i can think of.
