Gold coast miami/nobbys beach hidden gem.

This spot on the gold coast represents memories of good past times and is as great a spot as it used to be for beautiful views, surfing and general beach fun from when i first visited it in 1969.

The rock pools here can have a few nice things for the aquarium as well, oh and the occasional local lizard to scurry off when you get to close.

From way back in the seventies when there was virtually nothing here to now has all kinds of holiday apartments,plenty of parking, trendy jogging paths and a set of steps that would either kill or make you seriously fit if used regularly.

The pics that follow are some of the best that is at this beautiful spot for rock climbing, picnics and most anything oceanic.

Oh one more thing there is a top scuba spot just a little to the north and out in 50 to 70 feet of water that is rarely clear leaving the life there rarely touched and quite abundant.

I'm almost positive i know where that is..

What kind of stuff can be found in the rockpools there?

The same as most everywhere,but it does need to be a very low tide and small seas for there.

Thats Burleigh heads to the buildings and the other way is to surfers.

Burlliegh at least looks some what the same as a few years back .We were up your way 2 weeks ago whats happened to Kirra ?. It used be to a great place to visit ! You now need a packed lunch to reach the shore there these days. I think they are ruining the Gold Coast

That’s the sand pumping jetty next to the Tweed, its filling in from snapper to ballinga,next to Kirra.

They killed all of kirra reef with that
