You need to be always aware that the mesh used for nets in estauries in Q has to have no smaller holes then 25 mil streched.

You can make a net with an old mop or broom handle and cut to size with a hacksaw.

You need to shape the end of the timber to fit into the marine grade stainless tube you will cut to suit.

These I use an angle grinder first to make the started slots and finish with the drill bit of the same diameter as the stainless.
