Wrasse will not eat,please help

I have two wrasse one pyjama and one canary
The canary wrasse just swims around and doesnt seem to like the food i give them
Is there something i can do to make sure it is feeding

Have you tried frozen brine shrimp, if you can get some lives ones it could get it started

When fish are fussy eaters there is not much you can do but keep trying different foods until you (hopefully) find one it likes. You can try soaking food in garlic to see if that stimulates it's appetite.

Unfortunately some fish don't seem to respond to captivity and never eat :-( it's always a good idea to get the LFS to feed it in front of you so you can watch it eat (and make sure it eats and doesn't spit it out again) I have lost a few fish from starvation - tried a good dozen types of food and they just wouldn't go for anything. Most get too hungry and will take food eventually but there are exceptions.

Tomorrow i will go to the aquarium shop and try firstly the shrimp and if that doesnt work i will try the next idea

Hey thanks every one my wrasse is eating misces and brine shrimp now and i am going to do the carlic thing as well

I also feed my fish Sushi most will nibble on it. You can buy a little suction plastic clip to hold it on the glass. I just use an all plastic peg tied to a peice of fishing line.
