External skimmer for 400 litres

Hey all,just getting a new aquarium to cycle and want any ones opinion on a good external skimmer for it.
There isn,t much room to fit it in,about 8inches by 5 inches for the base and 2 foot high maybe.
I wanted a needle wheel function as well.
Whats the word?

Mate i would go with the Deltec MCX 300 for a small tank if that is what you are doing,they are pretty cheap, plus a needle wheel function with in a German made pump and would most likely handle the load for that size.

The same one comes as an external as well.

I thought some one would have helped you, especially since I do not normally use skimmers, I had to ask someone about it,lol.

Maybe on the ree tank I will,maybe?

I have left a spot for one just in case the corals don’t colour up well as time goes on.

The deltec range is good so I would advise you to go a size or two up!
The 400mc or even the mcx 500 as a little of an over kill might handle what you want well.
You might have to find some extra room there bro
