Help with shy wrasse

Guys I bought a clown wrasse a week ago last Friday the last one died and I haven’t seen this one after the second day
Do these fish hide for days on end is this normal

Its what they do Kate,for safety and bed time,under the gravel

hey kate,
i got a checkerboard wrasse a few weeks ago, and have only seen it three times since when moving some rocks to clean up a bit
... i guess its normal like Dazza said
liquidg mentioned to me that it could be caused by stress too, but i dont know if that helps u in any way
hope urs eventually comes out more often than mine does!!
