Faulty Light
As discussed at the meeting....
I was away for a few days and when I returned found everything attached to one of my powerboards non functional, thankfully the return pump was on the other power board so there was basic circulation and so no losses (lights, powerheads and skimmer were all on the powerboard that was not working)
On investigation I found the following deceased items
1 powerboard (it's not resetting at all)
1 timer
1 LED light
I pulled the timer apart and found a track on the circuit board to be burnt out. Hubby soldered a piece of wire across the damaged section and now 2 of the 3 channels work, appears that a regulator on this section is also blown. Should hopefully be an easy fix.
The light does not appear to have anything obviously wrong with it, but when it is hooked up to power it triggers the overload circuit on the powerboard. I have unplugged the drivers (or at lease what I think are the drivers) one at a time but the light keeps tripping the circuit.
Pics of light internals (ignore the block of wood, the cables are too short to open fully without unplugging them

yeh ok
yeh if its tripping 240 then its more then likely that the issue is before the transformer/s for the drivers.
as a transformer is there to isolate as well as transfer.
if you can get it to me i could probly isolate the fault pretty qucikly. then i can order parts thru work.
let me know
