Great Barrier Reef Black marlin
I just got an amazing phone call from my Dad who is currently fishing up near Lizard island on the GBR .
he landed a personal best 1100lb black marlin yesterday.
its hard to put the size and beauty of one of those big girls into perspective.
he will be bringing the footage home with him so ill try and get it up on the site then.
until i do here's a site i look at every day for my reports on how the season is going there is a article on my dad aboard our mates boat Kaizen in the second paragraph.
http://www.blackmarlinfishingblog.com/
some of the videos etc will give you some idea of the immense size of some of the fish we catch.
and no mike they will not fit in a tank.
