Starfire special @ aquariums r us
Hey guys I know a few of you have been talking about getting starfire for the front of your tanks so I thought I'd let you know that it's on special at the moment.

Define 'on special' please....
Last time I priced a section of 600 x 515 mm it was around $110.00 - wouldn't bother as it is not that much better in my opinion.....

Starphire glass cotains as low as 10 perecent iron with no lead content compared to standard glass, thus removing that green tint to the water giving extreme clarity and a slight blue tint to the water. As standard glass is made thicker,it gives a greater green tint and starfire can be purchased up to an inch thick and still achieves true colurs for veiwing and near perfect clarety.
Pricey stuff normally mate and it's best just used on the front of aquariums for normal veiwing to keep costs down.

My 2.5ft tank has starfire on it, and it is soooo much clearer than any tank i've previously had. I love it, and think it was definitely worth the extra $25 i had to pay to get it
