tube worms
The light side of it doesn't matter with them.
The only reason at times they live a little out of the light is because they are visable to predators,of which they have a lot of.
When we collect our own we find them in very shallow waters in full sunlight and in slightly deeper water in full light as well.
Then at times we find them in very deep water.
They are normally in shallow water in the biggest numbers because of there main food source, plankton. The largest concentration of plankton is near to the surface, for obvious reasons.
So don't worry about the light with them. The only problem with light and them in a tank,is the shadows of the tank inhabitants that may swim over them, sometimes making them pull in.
These are my favourite tank creatures
