Scuba and free dive Sunday 17-03-13
Let me just start with, it was pea soup out there, lol.
The water was dirtier then I have seen for ages in Open Ocean. But as we always do, we made the most of a calm day with filthy waters and had a great time.
This is the day.
An early start.
Well on our way.
Lots of fish around, this mullet school made it even harder to see in the dirty water.
A lonely leopard shark, it needed a pat, lol.
One of many nudibranchs seen.
A not so safe friendship between this lion and shrimp.
This is a 5 millimetre zebra lion, so tiny it was sat over a stocking bag for a pic.
Heaps of stone fish to be wary of.
Some of the corals we saw.
A juvenile spotted hogfish
Dinner sized flat head.
A little bloat puffer.
An old blue clam we take a pic of when ever we are at this site.
Hopefully nothing will happen to it.
Some amphiprion akindynos photos.
Juveniles
Sub adults
Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides or clown sweet lip.
Not overly common in Seq,though we would see 10 to 20 per year.
Being that they are a dinner species, they have a size attached ot them and the juvenile by recreational collectors can not be taken.

They could have been much better if the water wasn’t pea soup, geez it was dirty. That leopard we see him or her normally every time we go there, it’s a very friendly one. You know I have never looked to see if it has claspers or not to work out the sex of it.
Next time.
