Re: ph and alkalinity problem
pool supplies, alkalinity and PH up.
At least using this will check whether the testing is correct.

Re: ph and alkalinity problem
For now, just get some of your aquariums water into a bucket and put in an air stone and test it for KH,then add the KH and PH up pool product to it.
If the pool product is used, at least it will show if your test kit is working and if you are using it correctly.
Mix up some, and then add some KH and PH up to your aquariums water then test and repeat this until it reads on the test kit that you have.
For the time being you can just use neutralised tap water to mix it with before adding it to your aquariums water.
For now all you need to know is that the test kit is working and if you can establish a KH reading for your water!
It is not common for salt water to test zero for KH.

Re: ph and alkalinity problem
It’s up to you, it should do the trick.
Have you tried taking in your water to the shop for a test or using another test kit?

Re: ph and alkalinity problem
Can you put all parameters, including salinity and temp and some pics up of the aquarium, just the view of inside the aquarium, not the cabinet or hood or what ever and a close up of the sump please so we can see how much calcium media you have used in there and how it functions.
Also what is making the current in your aquarium and do you make your own salt water and exactly how, including what freshwater you use and how it is used to make salt water.
If you do water changes from the ocean, say everything that you do with it as well.
Then everything about the lighting that you use, including type and age of tubes or bulbs, if you use that sort of lighting.
All this will allow solid and precise help for you!
The more we know of your set up, the better the help will be.
