Scuba and free diving trip, first for July 2013
The following photos are representative of three sites visited by our club members this day.
Only two were collecting at two sites and others were there to get photos on scuba.
There were many whales near by and passing very close to the boat while on anchor, the visibility was in the range of 10 to 12 meters with water temperatures between the 19c to 20c range.
The day could be classed as magnificent if the water was a little clearer.
Heading out.
In open ocean.
Whales next to the boat.
One of the divers with his photo taken by another diver.
One of many large mackerel seen.
A lot of anthias to be seen.
There were 7 crays spotted.
A wall on the edge of a cave of tubastraea.
Two types of triggers.
Sea fans-gorgonia.
A small latezonatus in a bubble tip.
A common powder brown tang.
A clown coris wrasse.
A very small clown wrasse
One of several turtles swimming near us.
A bleached bubble tip from weeks of dirty waters.
A common anemone shrimp.
Several large colourful clams.
Abundant algae types.
