This spot is accessible via the Toowoomba turn off from heading towards Ipswich and is supplied with water from Wivenhoe dam.
There is a resturant, picnicking areas with tables and cover, toilets, fishing, fantastic kayaking and swimming or just a walk around in the shallows.
This area is of all river stone so there is no mud to contend with.
