Halimeda coralline algae can over crowd the aquarium.
This reef aquarium is of a high organic nutrient level with suitable lighting to encourage this form of algae.
Include no nitrates showing on a test, low temps and good flow, from these this algae can get quite out of hand and literally suck the calcium carbonate and magnesium out of your water.
With halimeda.
With out halimeda trimmed severely and with new leds overhead and a new coral trialing after two were given to a mate.
