Holly smoke check out the amount of warm water coming Qs way
This early in the season? climate change is really hitting hard.
Back 15 years or so, this time of year the ocean off here was still semi dry wetsuit time.
Back then at this time of year I had to dive in 16c to 17c degrees and 14c to 16c in late August to early September on the popular dive sites, it’s getting really ugly out here.
The kelp grounds off Moreton islands reefs use to be dangerous at up to 30 feet high off the bottom trapping your ocy or gauges or fins, now the very limited areas are lucky to be patchy 2 foot high and the kelp is much deeper now! We need that cool water for the latz!
