Peacock mantis variations in colours.
This I assume is a female and is 8 inches long, trying to look at there under tail is not easy, lol
This guy is of a slightly different colouration and has eggs, obviously a female.
The original male with quite a thick body and is 9 inches long, both are quite large.
This is to see how they get along in on small plastic tub over time, it may not work!
This is the mail checking out the female acclimatising in a container.
The new one that i released just before lights out and the male was right onto her, but with out any harm, then they both sat either end and ignored each other, time will tell what will happen.
If this does not work, no great loss, mantis are a delicacy.

Re: Peacock mantis variations in colours.
They are getting on really well, they fought over a fresh crab today, but didn't harm each other.
This is how they live during the day, they each have their own bit of conduit.
