Clown wrasse coris gaimard, the difference bewteen adult and juvenile and the stages of growth.
This guy was kept for 4 years to get photos of its changes.
In the wild it would take from juvenile to adult approximately 2 years, in hobbyists aquarium the changes will take longer as they live a much greater life span longer in captivity.
Juvenile around possibly 35 millimetres
The same fish with full adult colouration, and this one is a male, at just 110 millimetres.
