Dofleinia armata sand anemone, nicknamed the armed anemone.

These guys are rare here in SEQ and semi dangerous!
Their sting can be quite painful and if it does sting you, it can take months to heal properly!
This is how they appear in rhe sand.
Its underneath

In a container for a pic or two
