IVE HEARD VERY LARGE EMPERORS CAN BE CONSIDERED CORAL FRIENDLY. CAN ANYONE CONFIRM OR OTHERWISE THIS ASSUMPSITION, AND IF SO, OVER WHAT SIZE?

LARGE OR XLARGE EMPEROR ANGELS, REEF SAFE? Empty Emperor Angel

Post  fishmark 25th March 2008, 1:43 pm

Coral Friendly largely depends on corals on offer. All fishes regardless of species will have there own individual character In saying this an example being Flame Angels Centropyge loriculus this species is considered to be reef safe but I have personally witnessed some individuals that will destroy any piece of coral in sight. Unfortunately a lot of the time it comes down to luck of draw. Best suggestion Start with a juvenile and grow him up at least that way you have a chance to train him on what he eats.
