low power high out put light
( 23 Watt R40 Compact Fluorescent Flood 5100K Full Spectrum CFL)
This is equal to 120 watts in out put with only 23 watts used.
This one boasts a full spectrum and 8,000 hours of use before deteriating plus fits into a standard batton fitting.
I am not sure where these are avaliable as yet but i wil check it out.
For an algae scrubber or most non small polyp coral tanks it sounds ideal, not for compactness, just the full spectrum and low elec use!
