Fishing Trip - Great conditions
Hi All,
Was fortunate enough to get out late last week for a few days of R&R up at Mooloolaba - we took the boat so we could have a bit of a snorkel and fish. The weather was great and the water was awesome, flat seas up to 30nm offshore with the fish biting. We managed to catch a feed and had a lot of fun playing amongst the tuna. The water was 40+ mtrs Vis out wide and glass - so it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable time - before we go back to the 9-5.....oh well all good things must come to an end as they say, fortunately we took some pics to keep us going for the next trip...
This was one of maaaany Yellow Fin Tuna, great sports fish with many returned..
The very colourful Red throat Emporer - Rough conditions ah !
Nice table size cobia (black Kingfish) - Many of these hung around the boat each day
The 2nd most tasty fish in the sea - Pearl Perch - Not sure who's got the bigger mouth ?
