Hi everyone,collecting trips?

Hi there, i see that some of you go out on snorkeling/collecting trips.
I have all the gear and also know a few spots.
When is the next trip or does anyone feel like going on one?

We just had a trip out off stradbroke island on saturday the 28th of this month.We got some great stuff for our tanks.we had 15 to 2o metres vis and 21 to 22 temp.Saw a lot of beautiful things.The trip pictures will be in dannys diving pitures in the next week or so.these are private members trips that we go out on.The type of trip we just went on is not an easy one to organise as the area is quite dangerous unless the right conditions are avaliable.With out ocean experience we would not take someone with us,There was a 8 foot gey nurse shark swam under us,the depth between the boat and where we swim to is around 70 feet deep.We snorkel in 6 to 20 feet deep.Out there you see all the barrier reef can offer,maybe better.There maybe another trip in the next 3 weeks.We wind down during the winter months.The only reason we had to have this trip is we have been waiting a month or two for the ocean to settle down.It was very nice,a new member came out with us and couldn't believe it.The aandtsociety has been diving and snorkeling the area for near on 60 years now.
