Flat rock dive site, first mooring goes in.

We had a run out to look at some new GPS marks for the plane wreck Tuesday and the moorings to get rid of anchoring at flat rock were being started so we went out there for a look.

The first on at the shark gutters went in,no float yet they go on later.

We spoke to the marine parks people over seeing it and they will be placing four moorings mainly at the back of Flat, one where this one is,one at the bomie,one at the nursery and the other,i forget what they said.



This is the tug and vessels finishing off the mooring.



We had a look around but not much luck so far with the wreck, these are a couple of pics.

Huge schools of macks around.



This is a rarity,a giant clam I noticed around 12 years back at a much smaller size, its big now, its roughly 2 and half feet long this one.?
I don’t know of any others down here
