Ophioplocus red brittle sea star, training nicely.
This once little guy I collected late last year around September or October has worked out the tanks feeding system really well now.
It knows that when I turn off the circulating pump, which I do when cleaning the filter barriers, soon after I give the tank a large feed.
The semi smooth armed varieties of the Ophioplocus are the safest to keep and rarely attack anything else being less flexible and not as good at grabbing things like the spikey armed types, plus my tanks have tights 24/7 anyway so that they could not catch any one off guards any way.
This is it just before I put in that large feed.
