The amazing strength of racemosa caulerpa.
The pic that follows is of the racemosa I use as a major nutrient importer.
As you can see it is almost completely transparent as in loosing its pigments and it is still growing, which means it is still importing nutrients.
Caulerpa does not have to die/go sexual if it loses its pigments, if conditions are correct and it looses this due to lighting only, it will not suffer and live on nicely.
