Hutchison shoal, 7 Ks north of moreton island point
This reef is roughly 3 to 5 kilometres north to slightly north east of flinders reef and offers far more life and diverse dive sites than flinders or anywhere else in SEQ, though it is quite a bit deeper over all, at the shallowest point it is only 12 metres down to 40 metres. This reef area is massive!!!!
This reef area is the biggest in SEQ followed by the southern cherubs cave reef area.
Excellent fishing, spearing and diving on this very current affected beautiful reef.
