worm...?
Went fishing with a mate awhile ago off the front of woody point. Threw some prawns out and when we wound in found these hairy worm looking things that had climbed onto our hooks and hooked themself's. End up happening 3 times one after another for about 15 mins untill we decided to move.
Anyone know what they r?

Just a guess, maybe Chloeia fusca, I think it is a fire bristle worm.

Okay thanks mate, venomous spins looks nasty, my dad has caught them in the front of brisbane river aswell. Do u know much about them? Wondering what sort of preditors it would have with spins like that or if that's why they seem to pop over abit more now. Weird how they took themself's with the took ending up piping out there back.
