Cyanobacteria on the glass of a reef tank. Empty Cyanobacteria on the glass of a reef tank.

Firstly cyano is not an algae, it is a bacterium, though all earths algae/plant life contain cyano, this is not an algae!!!
This is not a sign of low water health, with mine it is just that its out if the direct light, leaving my pre filter uncleaned for a few days at a time and I have not cleaned the glass in 4 months.
As you can see, even with plenty of flow its very happy there, the low flow thing with cyano, it has always been a fallacy.
