Turbinaria coral, its polyps out, then retracted. Empty Turbinaria coral, its polyps out, then retracted.

One the most common corals around SEQ and a very hardy family of corals as well.
We see these guys all over the place, usually in shallow dirty water, these pics show it with polyps extended and the next with polyps retracted.
All corals do this!!
