Remote cycling your aquarium with no sump! Empty Remote cycling your aquarium with no sump!

Always remember, whether it be corals, their forms of ammonia and waste, for crustaceans their varied ammonias and waste and for fish the same thing, they all vary in the bacteria that sets up shop in your aquarium to convert the varied wastes!
That is of course if the cycle is done naturally correct!
You can purchase bacteria to do this!
It’s easy as, with out a sump, by doing it the same way with life in that bucket or what ever that holds tank water, with over flow to your tank to cycle the bio rock in there or connected to your sump to cycle the sump and the tanks bio rock, either way, its cycling remotely!

Okay get a container of some kind like a white or similar non coloured and non uv protected bucket. Coloured or uv protected plastic is usually toxic to marine life!
Cut a hole near the top of your bucket, i always use a soldering iron for plastic work including plastic welding with a soldering iron.
Make a hole in the bucket neat the top slightly smaller then the pipe you are going to use.
Heat the end of the pvc pipe with hot water then force that pvc pipe into the hole then let it cool and dry it all then seal with silicon so that the pvc pipe/hose is an over flow back to your tank above your tank, next to your tank or in the next room at that height or next to your sump.
.
The inside bucket side, in that hole you need a defence against blockages so the exiting water remains a good flow, get a small plastic bottle like a juice bottle or what ever bottle, that the top once heated fits into the exit hole, you can heat the bottles top then push in, that will make it fit, put holes in that bottle, lots of them!!
That is now what can be called a remote external temporary aquarium!

Whether it be a bucket or bin or glass, that area has living things in to cycle your tank, but they are not living in your tank!

Set a small pump in your tank, if a defence is needed to stop anything from being sucked into the pump, same again with the pumps intake as the exiting water from the bucket, make up a bottle or what ever with holes in it and then cover it with dacron/filter wool to fit over the pump!

Okay there is now a place in your water to have strong fish living to get your cycle really strong, with no fish or crabs or what ever you have in that bucket in your tank!!!
Feed them in there as you would in your tank and crabs or anything really and if they are jumpers, put on the buckets lid when not feeding or what ever to stop jumpers!! easy as!!!
There are many ways to do our hobby really well!
