Kayaking and or any paddling of Wellington and Cleveland points photos

Wellington point, my suburb.
Next to the car park is good to leave from at wellington point, its on your left as you arrive at the point.




If you leave from here, once you head out this what is on the left.




A few little beach sections to stop at.




Just be aware that no one can own any land below the highest tide, so if any one says anything, just ignore them!


Turning right from the water entry here is king island, i nice paddle and best to start out for this one with smooth water or winds from the south to south east to east, and check the tide.


if you time it right, this sand bar at your right side when heading out, will take out any chop so it is smooth paddling.


Always a few friendly birds on the way or at the island, when the tide is not low enough yet for walkers to the island.


Once you are out at the island, on a nice day it is a good swim in warm weather or bird watching.










Once heading back, its just as nice.
