The hobby is pretty laid back here.
In southeast Queenslad where we are there is good access to good priced marine species as there are a great deal of collectors in the area, appart from what we get for ourselves.
we don't always get the new tech gear as fast as others, but if we look around we can find access to it.
Mainly the best thing about here is the climate.
It is realy good for going out into the ocean and looking at the ocean and it's workings and get a good understanding of how the big blue works and grab a few fish and inverts while we are there.
Our laws here allow a few to be taken on our colecting trips.
it is great to see how it does it before we put it in an aquarium to try to mimick it's conditions in the tank.
Just recently one of our members (Mark) has gotten some very advanced gear for his new snorkeling tank, just kidding it is just going to be quite large thats what i mean by that.
if you want a look at the stuff go to our photobucket sight via any links on the homepage like collecting trips and look at the tags section down on the left and click on marks, that will show what he is getting together for his new tank.
Some very good gear.
Good to see you on the forum.
It's still very new but we will get there.

Hey warr7207.
What sought of species are cheap in your shops.
Over hear i would say the wrasse are most likely the cheapest.
It may be because we get a lot of the wrasse here in our waters.
Have any of your group tried the led lights yet.
