The areas between Mount tambourine and beenliegh in the south east between the gold coast and Brisbane sought of are what this thread is all about and the lovely water spots out there in particular.
To get there you turn off the M1 highway to the gold coast at Beenliegh and go out through it to Mount Warren park, than through Windaroo and keep going towards Tambourine.

Firstly the tipical country service station, this one has been there since 1920.

Daniels park

How to get to this beautiful swimming spot where there are freshwater fish and shrimp to catch with water clear enough to snorkel in.
You need to where shoes in and out of this water!

Copy and paste the following address into the where box.

14 Cedar Creek Rd, Cedar Creek, QLD

Where Beenleigh Beaudesert road crosses the small bridge, Daniels park is on the northern side of the bridge just 20 metres along that main road.
Turn off and park, then walk into the park and the creek is there on the right hand side of the park.

This is the park and swimming areas.
You can walk up stream to an abundance of other swimming areas as well.

Has anybody tried to get into Daniels Park and down to the creek? It looks pretty overgrown?
