The two reported breeders who have raised Latz are from Europe and Victoria.

mrblue on MOFIB has raised both Latz and Lord Howe clowns.

The trouble with Latz, is getting them to spawn.

I toy with breeding (don't really have the time to get full-on with it), and have 4 pairs that I'm working with... Hopefully we'll see a spawn this summer.

There may be a solution to getting them to breed the guy on the sunshine coast used to breed them out doors and he used to say to successfully breed them you have to mimic a cycle of the moon in relation to on coming darkening nights to absolute darkness and no lights on for looking at the fish room as such.

One of his mates used to start the lighting getting darker around 5 to 7 days after spawning and they wouldn't spawn until a cycle similar to the moons cycle has been going on for a while so they were used to it and never feed after dusk or disturb them in any way till after dawn.

oh and the latz were very fussy with the water quality, more so than others!!
