Thats a pretty good quality pic vawn,looks like you have taken a few.

this time of year it's mainly the diadem spid (british equivillent of the european orb weaver) tiny spids not usually more than 5mm sometimes as big as 3cm known for making their huge orb webs, after the springs slings have gotten fat
ugh my pb's down the little critters are easily identified by the cross shaped pattern of whites on the abdomen, see what i can find a min..

not a very good pic I'm finding it hard to control my centre of focus, it's the same spid in both pix showin her cross shape. you wanna see a pretty spid? try this, there's loadsa crap on it too but i dunno
