spiny pufferfish on club trip in Aus
These spiny puffer fish,the second one is a (diodon nicthemerus) they copied from these in the nemo movie and are found quite commonly in our shoreline waters and the second one has extremely sharp spines.
To try to hold on of these when they are puffed up, so to speak, is an adventure in pain you really are better off missing, ouch!!
Their mortality rate with just that one feature let alone the potentially poisonous flesh makes them a serious no touch fish.
