Algae eating crab, the marine cleaner.
The percnon guinotae is the ultimate aquarium cleaner upper, so to speak.
These crabs are very common every where near a low tide mark and can be a big plus in an aquarium with robust fish, maybe a predator tank to remove unwanted algae at night by these hard workers that will harm small species.
IF you were going with an invert only tank these are a must to get rid of hair algae and red algae in the aquarium.
There are only two robust creatures that add some colour and movement to the tank that will remove hair algae and this crab and the lawnmower blennies are the two algae grazes to have.
If you include some tiny yellow claw hermit crabs from a low tide area that love red algae and hair algae you will have a very clean tank.
