money that could save my town
really outta topic i know but...
the Leach Pottery, international centre of excellence for craftsmen, origin outside of japan of studio pottery as an art form and a place of massive historical, international importance (where i work), is currently in 3rd place in the Art Fund Prize voting with the Ashmolean and Blists Hill ahead of us and they have recently received massive funding and only want the money to put on a show. Please vote if you haven't already - wherever you are in the world - and pass this onto all you friends/colleagues/family. The £100k prize would make a huge difference to the pottery and would help us towards our aim of creating a new education space for schools and families and a research room to hold the Mary Wandrausch Library and our growing film archives. Here is the link www.artfundprize.org.uk/2010/vote
The deadline is May 7th - THANKS!
